Holiday Fun

All day Friday & Friday night brought a huge amount of snow that is extremely unusual for this time of year. Ed threatened to not take us to my mom's house because of the snow and I told him I was going to go with or without him.

This was a great weekend for me, we had a lovely holiday meal at my mother's house on Saturday. I got to visit with my brother and sister and all their children.

Matthew and Jasmine went outside to play in the snow and both of them came back in covered in snow and wet. Ed fell asleep in the chair and slept for a couple of hours and I actually got to visit with my mother and my daughter.

We headed home from there and my brother called me and said that his friends down at Grind House Tattoos needed some computer work done at his shop in downtown Litchfield. These were some very pleasant guys and very very talented. One of their entire walls was covered with a mural done completely in pencil, he must have days and days worth of work put into this wall. Ed helped him with his computer, and having it output to a new flat panel display.

After we came home Friday night, I logged into WoW for some playtime and did a bit of Karazhan with my priestess. She's finally nearly exalted. I also baked a yummy cake for dinner on Sunday at Jan's.

Sunday morning we packed up and left Ed at home. We went to visit my Dad and his entire side of the family at Jan's house. It was sooo nice to have a chance to get to visit with everyone. Especially Brad and Chris, my cousins, and Jamie and all her kids, and her youngest child Chloe, she is such a busybody. We had a lovely meal, lunch at 1pm and reheated leftovers for dinner around 6pm. We played cards and chatted. We played a game called Imaginiff and I was able to learn a lot about my family that I didn't know. The kids both liked it and told me they wanted to buy a copy of the game for here at the house and I agreed, it was a lot of fun.

We headed home with Matthew not feeling so hot, and while we were in Wal-Mart getting the kids the game Matthew got sick in the store.

We came home and played a couple hands of the game. Ed played with us and we had some good time together as a family, before the kids had to go to bed for school.
